Dr. Taub and Team

Meet Dr. Taub and team who make Beachwood Smiles the leading provider of oral hygiene and personalized dental services in Beachwood.

Dr. Yoav Y. Taub

Dr. Yoav Taub grew up in the Cleveland Heights community. In 1999, he graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and, shortly after, completed his general practice residency at Evanston-Northwestern, in Chicago, treating medically compromised patients.

Bringing the personal touch of patience and care to his work, Dr. Taub has been in private practice since 2000 and owned his own practice on the West side of Cleveland until deciding to move his office closer to home in Beachwood. There, he specializes in numerous dental issues, such as general care, cosmetic work and even full mouth reconstruction, a skill he developed while at The Dawson Academy, a world-renowned center for advanced dentistry.

Dr. Taub also holds a Utah license where he has taken patients from his own practice to be treated at the WhiteCap Institute when doing implant reconstruction work.

During a fundraiser in 2005, Dr. Taub met Yael, an Emergency Medicine Physician at University Hospitals. The two doctors got married and, in 2009, the happy couple was blessed with the healthy arrival of twins, a girl and a boy. The young family currently resides in Cleveland Heights, just four houses from where Dr. Taub grew up.

In addition to his practice, Dr. Taub also takes great pride in his clinical instructor role at Case Western Reserve University College of Dental Medicine, where he’s been since early 2009. He loves teaching and mentoring young minds in the field of dentistry. Dr. Taub has also finished a residency for surgical implant placement at the renowned WhiteCap Institute in Heber City, Utah.

When not with clients or students, Dr. Taub enjoys spending quality time with his family as well as reading and skiing.
